This affiliate disclosure details affiliate relationships that OnPoint Holistic Marketing has with other companies and products. Please also review the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy that govern the use of this website.
In compliance with the FTC guidelines, please assume the following about all links, posts, photos and other material on this website:
Any/all of the links on this website are affiliate links of which OnPoint Holistic Marketing receives a small commission from sales of certain items, but the price is the same for you.
The use of affiliate links will NEVER influence recommendations made by Kassy or OnPoint Holistic Marketing.
That’s the most important statement. In reality, most of the links won’t be affiliate links, but you should assume so just in case.
When making recommendations that use affiliate links I/our promise is to always disclose personal use and to let adding the links be an after thought. Affiliate links are something we look into adding once the recommendation has already been made, if one is even available since not all companies offer them.
What is an affiliate link?
Some companies will provide a small payment (an affiliate commission) to any person or business who refers a customer to them who makes a purchase. They offer this to encourage people to talk about and recommend their product/services.
How do affiliate links work?
At NO cost to the person clicking the link (you), the person providing the link to another business or service can earn a small commission. There is a tracking code in the link that keeps track of the referral. Sometimes, like with Amazon, the time between clicking the link and making a purchase that earns an affiliate commission is short, about 24 hours. Other times the tracking code lasts longer, maybe 30 days before it expires (assuming the tracking cookies haven’t been cleared or another device is used to make the purchase).
Why do we use affiliate links?
The goal of OnPoint Marketing is to help reflexologists grow their business affordably and effectively. So we keep our the costs we charge our clients low. In doing so, it makes good business sense if we’re already sending people to a specific product or service that we think is of great quality and beneficial to helping you grow your business that we take advantage of the affiliate commission that company is willing to offer.
Do affiliate links impact recommendations?
No.
Sometimes with some companies that answer is clearly a yes, but NEVER on this website or on any content produced by OnPoint Holistic Marketing. When a business’ income is solely tied to affiliate income, it can be quite persuasive for them to lean to the option that pays better. Companies know this and it’s why they offer these incentives. Luckily for you, Kassy promises that will never be the case for OnPoint Holistic Marketing. Ethical and honest marketing has always been very important and will always be forefront in all our business decisions. We truly want the best for you.
You can always trust any brand or product suggestions are truly what we think is the best option. Period.
